Khloe Kardashian Hints at Meghan Markle Friendship After Receiving As Ever Products
Khloé Kardashian is one of the lucky few who’ve nabbed Meghan Markle’s As Ever products.
The 41-year-old reality star took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, August 10, and shared a glimpse of a giant wicker basket sent by Meghan, 44. The gift included lots of fresh vegetables — tomatoes, corn and squash — plus some flowers.
Khloé also received some of Meghan’s impossible-to-get As Ever products, including the fruit preserves, which are almost always sold out. The Duchess of Sussex also sent over two bottles of her recently restocked rosé.
While Khloé didn’t caption the image, Meghan shared the post via her own social media account and offered a sweet caption.
“Hey hey all my girls with a K,” Meghan shared on Sunday, adding three white hearts and a kissing emoji to her Instagram Story. (Meghan sent her products to Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, earlier this year. She also shared a photo of the gift on Instagram.)
Khloé’s gift came days after Meghan restocked the As Ever 2024 Napa Valley Rosé to celebrate her 44th birthday.
“Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses?” the brand captioned an Instagram post on July 30. “Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week.”
The wine dropped Tuesday, August 5 — one day after Meghan’s birthday — and didn’t sell out in its usual quick fashion. In fact, bottles are still available for purchase.
Meghan’s As Ever released their first product launch in April, selling out almost immediately. Since then, fans have been setting alarms in preparation for subsequent product drops.
Last year, Meghan announced her foray into the lifestyle space, initially telling fans that her brand would be called American Riviera Orchard. The name was changed to As Ever in February, two months before the official launch.
“I had secured As Ever as a name in 2022, and then as everything started to evolve last year, and bringing in a partner the size that it was, it was just so interesting,” Meghan explained during an April episode of her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast. “I said, ‘I like American Riviera as an umbrella,’ and then be able to have verticals beneath it.”
However, Meghan felt the name became a “word salad,” which she wasn’t a fan of.
“I was like, ‘OK, let’s go back to the thing that I’ve always loved. Let’s use the name that I protected for a reason that had sort of been under wraps,’” she said. “And then we were able to focus in the quiet and put our heads down and build on something that no one was sniffing around to even see about. It was really just helpful to have that quiet period.”
