Kim Kardashian critics blame ‘nepotism’ for North and Chicago West’s new music video: ‘Kris Jenner 2.0’

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughters are getting a taste of the music industry at an early age — and critics have mixed reactions about it.

The “Heartless” rapper recruited daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, to star in his “Bomb” music video, which dropped Wednesday night.

In the futuristic video, the siblings raced through the desert in Tesla Cybertrucks while fending off masked creatures in hot pursuit.

Both girls also rap on the track, with North switching between English and Japanese.

Chicago, for her part, doesn’t come in until mid-way through the song.

“It’s Chicago / You know I’m the one,” she raps.”I like to have fun / I like to go to the beach / I like the sun.”

“You know it’s Chi / I only wave when I’m telling them ‘bye.’”

Kardashian — who also shares sons Saint West, 8, and Psalm West, 5, with West — later shared the “Mad Max-esque” video to her Instagram, eliciting a range of responses.

While some praised the exes for giving their girls creative freedom, others labeled the opportunity as peak “nepotism.”

“the next time someone asks me what nepotism is I’m showing them this vid,” one user commented.

“The nepo baby equivalent to kids performing in their living rooms. But instead of only grandma watching, it’s millions of their parents’ followers,” another joked.

“Just because you can, doesn’t meant you should 😂,” a third wrote.

Another user joked Kardashian was “officially Kris Jenner 2.0” for marketing her kids early on.

“this is the kardashian equivalent of putting your kid’s artwork on the fridge 😭,” a fan chimed in.

Meanwhile, others loved that it was a song “made by kids, for kids.”

“I’m sure the kids made this up and was all their imaginative creation,” one person wrote. “That’s good stuff! Great job kids!

“Idk why everyone’s hating on some kids , clearly they wanted to make a song and do something fun and ya’ll are hating for what?” asked another.

“Bomb,” a collaboration with Yuno Miles and Ty Dolla $ign, was part of the “Vultures 2” album, which came out in August.

North, aka “Miss Miss Westie,” was also featured on her dad’s “Vultures 1” album. Her song, “Talking / Once Again,” reached No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The pre-teen wants to follow in her father’s footsteps, revealing in March that she was working on her debut album, “Elementary School Dropout” — a nod to West’s 2004 debut album, “The College Dropout.”

However, her interest in music is nothing new. Back in 2019, the then 5-year-old joined the choir at her dad’s Sunday Service.

One year later, North sang at the Yeezy Season 8 fashion show in Paris. Fast forward four years and the tween returned to the City of Love to perform at his “Vultures 1” album release party.
