KISS guitarist Ace Frehley’s official cause of death revealed

KISS guitarist Ace Frehley’s official cause of death was ruled to be blunt trauma head injury following a fall.

The musician, who died on Oct. 16, experienced a skull fracture known as a subdural hematoma and a stroke, according to a medical examiner’s report obtained by TMZ Monday.

He was put on life support and underwent a failed medical procedure before his family decided to shut down his ventilator, per the outlet.

Frehley’s death was determined to be an accident.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a subdural hematoma is defined as “a type of bleeding near your brain that can happen after a head injury.”

The condition can result in slurred speech, headaches and can be life-threatening.
