Kourtney Kardashian’s rocky relationship with her famous family will be on full display in The Kardashians season 8.

“It’s hard to get together with everyone else,” Kourtney, 47, says in a trailer for the new season, released Thursday, September 17, before her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner acknowledged in separate confessionals that they rarely see the Lemme founder.

In another scene, Kourtney hit back at the speculation of her absence.

“They think that Travis [Barker] is shielding you from the family, which is probably the biggest misread of the century,” Kourtney’s pal Simon Huck adds, before the reality TV star responded affirmatively.

According to Travis Barker, there’s more to Kourtney Kardashian and her sisters than the versions of themselves portrayed on The Kardashians. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Sunday, October 29, the Blink-182 drummer, 47, opened up sharing his romance with Kardashian, 44, on reality TV. He was initially annoyed that it […]

For Kourtney, she stresses that her “biggest priority” is her children.

“I’m very happy with my life,” Kourtney adds, noting she doesn’t ruminate over what her siblings think about her behavior.

Kourtney is a mom of four. She shares sons Mason, 16, and Reign, 11, as well as daughter Penelope, 14, with ex Scott Disick, in addition to son Rocky, 2, with Travis, 50. (The Blink-182 drummer is also a father of three from a past relationship.)

Kourtney and Travis welcomed their rainbow baby, Rocky, in 2023 after a previous pregnancy loss. After the miscarriage, the married couple underwent multiple rounds of now-failed IVF cycles before conceiving Rocky without medical intervention.

“The truth is, I felt like I was doing something that wasn’t right for me,” she told Vanity Fair Italia in an October 2023 profile. “My intuition was telling me that it wasn’t suitable for me. I don’t even take medicine, [so] imagine that it was working against my body rather than for it.”

Later in her pregnancy, Kardashian faced an undisclosed medical complication that required emergency fetal surgery.

Is baby No. 4 on the horizon? Kourtney Kardashian has made her feelings on expanding her family clear over the years. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum became a mom in 2009, welcoming son Mason with her then-boyfriend Scott Disick, followed by daughter Penelope and son Reign in 2012 and 2014, respectively. The former […]

“Right after the surgery, I reached the point where I let myself go and I stopped worrying,” she recalled to the Italian magazine. “Now I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head straight, and say a lot of prayers. I feel really lucky and grateful. I have a lot of gratitude. Not that I didn’t have it before, but perhaps since it came easy to me, I took the pregnancy for granted.”

In addition to Kourtney’s family ties, her sisters’ own evolving relationships will be on display on The Kardashians. While Khloé, 42, and Kendall, 30, are content being single, Kim Kardashian has found a new connection of her own.

“Let me just say this: I can’t control myself,” Kim, 45, teases in a confessional, perhaps referring to new beau Lewis Hamilton.

The Kardashians season 8 premieres on Hulu Thursday, October 8.
