Laufey sings it best herself — what’s a girl to do?
The singer-songwriter celebrated another exciting night at the Golden Globes, after encountering a minor blip on the red carpet.
While posing for the cameras, the “Bewitched” singer had to correct photographers for calling her Megan. In a video shared to Seventeen’s TikTok, multiple camera people can be heard calling her by the wrong name.
The 26-year-old then responded with, “I will say my name isn’t Megan,” before laughing off the faux pas. She later poked fun at the blip on Instagram, captioning her recap of the night with “🧡 megan 🧡.”
After that, the rest of the 26-year-old’s night seemed to go on without a hitch, considering that she spent all of it clad in a vibrant gown that was the ultimate example of dopamine dressing.

Celebrity interactions with photographers have been a hot topic in recent months.
In November, Millie Bobby Brown (now Millie Bonnie Bongiovi) was filmed scolding a photographer for yelling at her to “Smile” at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in London. “Smile? You Smile!,” the the actress quickly retorted while pointing to the group of photographers and then exiting the carpet.
And only earlier this month, Miley Cyrus had a face-off with the Palm Springs International Film Awards paparazzi. A clip shared by the New York Post‘s Page Six showed the singer clapping back at a photographer strongly reacting to her wearing sunglasses on the step-and-repeat. “If you yell at me, I do the opposite,” she told him. “I’ve known you for 20 years. If you tell me not to put the glasses on, I put them on.
