Lenny Kravitz lifts weights in leather pants and sheer tank top: ‘Always on brand’
Working out in style.
Lenny Kravitz — known for his grunge, ab-baring style — posted a social media video on Tuesday where he worked out in leather pants, a mesh tank top, dark sunglasses and combat boots.
In the clip, the “American Woman” singer repped out decline sit-ups while holding onto a loaded barbell, which he thrust upwards at the end of each rep.
Despite his restrictive outfit choice, the 59-year-old musician seemingly completed the exhausting exercise routine with ease as other patrons at the public gym looked on in surprise.
“Thank God for today! Grateful. Never been better,” Kravitz captioned the video on Instagram. “There are no shortcuts so seize your day. It is all possible. Love!”
While some of his fans and famous friends focused on the difficulty of Kravitz’s workout, others praised his commitment to the boho chic aesthetic.
“Man! Boots and leather pants while working out is crazy! Always on brand! 🔥🔥,” one fan wrote, to which a second user agreed, “Leather pants, mesh top and sunglasses in the gym. Lenny is the man!”
“This workout outfit is hard af,” Willow Smith chimed in, as model Winnie Harlow added, “Leather at the gym huh 🤔 That’s one way to buss a sweat 🔥.”
“Damn bro i need better gym fits 😮💨,” rapper Wiz Khalifa joked.
“My man never breaks character,” another fan wrote. “Full time rockstar!”
This isn’t the first time the “Fly Away” singer has made the gym his runway.
In May 2023, sweaty spies told Page Six that the rocker showed up at Equinox Hudson Yards dressed in a Chrome Hearts tracksuit, sunglasses and black biker boots.
Despite wearing the heavy-duty stompers to work out, Kravitz perplexingly changed into a pair of crisp white sneakers after his strength training session was over.
Photos taken inside the swanky studio showed the musician hanging out in the luxe lounge with a pal after his grueling training.
“He was very friendly, and talked to everyone who said hello to him,” the gym goer told us at the time. “He declined photos, but he was very friendly and very nice.”
Kravitz told USA Today last month that he works out “five or six days a week” and takes his training “very serious.”
“I try to get as much rest as possible, but that is my weakness,” he explained, noting that his grandfather taught him the importance of daily movement and good eating habits.
Although the longtime vegan didn’t reveal why he prefers wearing motorcycle boots on the gym floor, whatever the reason, it seems to be working.
“If you asked me ‘When were you in the best shape of your life?’ it’s today, right now,” he added. “Mentally, physically and spiritually, I’ve never been better.”
