Logan Paul Loses Bidding War for Hulk Hogan’s Bloody Wrestling Boots: ‘Tapped Out’ at $1M
Logan Paul nearly became the new owner of Hulk Hogan’s bloody wrestling boots before losing a bidding war.
“Stayed up until 2am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s worn & signed boots from Wrestlemania 1,” Paul, 30, wrote via X on Sunday, March 1. “The inscription read ‘These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.’”
He continued, “I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.”
Paul shared a screenshot of the yellow lace-up tall boots, with Hogan’s message written on the side. The picture noted that Hogan wore the boots in 1985.
Per the screenshot, the boots were sold on Saturday for $1,037,000. A message underneath read that Paul’s final bid of $1,021,750 was ultimately outmatched.
Hogan began his wrestling career in the late 1970s, later joining the WWE in 1979. He officially retired from wrestling in 2012. More than a decade later, Hogan died of a heart attack in July 2025. He was 71.
Medical documents obtained by Us Weekly revealed that Hogan had a history of leukemia CLL. One month before his death, a source told Us that Hogan underwent a “pretty serious” heart surgery but was “doing well.”
Paul, meanwhile, made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania in 2022. That same year, Paul announced that he signed with WWE.
“I think it’s safe to say @LoganPaul shocked the world with his abilities as a guest at #WrestleMania … just imagine what he’ll do as a @WWE Superstar. Congratulations and welcome!” Triple H., a former WWE superstar and the VP of talent strategy and development at WWE, tweeted at the time.
The next year, Paul re-signed with WWE on a multiyear deal. “I feel incredibly blessed to have found something that I’m good at, at 28 years old,” he said in a statement at the time. “And the fact that the organization believes I’m good enough to continue hopefully building this WWE legacy is mind-blowing.”
Paul won his first major belt in the WWE in 2023, becoming the United States Champion after defeating Hall of Fame wrestler Rey Mysterio at the Crown Jewel event.
Earlier this year, Paul made headlines when he teased a wrestling match with Bad Bunny — a longtime wrestling fan — after previously sharing on a red carpet that he was not excited for the rapper’s Super Bowl Halftime show. (Paul later admitted on his podcast that he was an “ass” on the red carpet.)
“Let’s peel back the f***ing curtain. I’m going to stop f***ing around. Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar,” Paul said on a February 17 episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast. “He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler. He can f***ing wrestle.”
He continued, “There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It’s been floated around. I’ve been candid about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.”
