Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose says her mom is her ‘biggest inspiration’
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter looks to her mother when seeking inspiration.
The model, who appears on the cover of Elle Australia’s March edition, told the magazine that heading to photoshoots with her mom as a child influenced her to seek opportunities in the industry.
“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” she told the outlet.
“My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life,” she added, noting that Kidman is “a key part of everything I do.”
She also shared that her mother’s advice included being punctual. “The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time,” she told the outlet.
“There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”
Sunday Rose, 17, made her runway debut at Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show in October 2024.
She then starred in an accompanying campaign for the brand’s collection the following January, posing in a trench coat and skirt.
She subsequently scored her first fashion magazine cover, posing for Nylon’s August 2025 issue in a brown leather Prada skirt suit.
At the time, she admitted she was already taking inspiration from her mother’s highly fashionable closet.
“I take everything from my mom’s closet,” she told the outlet. “I sometimes joke with her that it’s my favorite store.”
Sunday Rose’s latest comments on her mother’s influence come two months after her parents finalized their shock divorce after 19 years of marriage in January.
Per their agreement, Sunday Rose and her sister Faith Margaret, 15, are with the “Big Little Lies” actress 306 days of the year, while their country star dad has “every other weekend” to spend time with them.
Following the split, Kidman appeared to take comfort from Faith and Sunday, sharing her mindset in a touching New Year’s Instagram upload in January.
She shared a photo of herself and their two daughters watching fireworks, arm in arm, writing atop the pic, “looking forward into 2026.”
A source told People that same month that the Oscar winner is “optimistic” and that she “spends a lot of time with her girls.” They added, “She loves family time.”
