‘Love Is Blind’ Season 9 Reunion Looks Include Madison and More Wearing Revenge Dresses While Their Costars Suit Up
The upcoming Love Is Blind reunion is bringing drama and dress-code revenge.
Cast members from season 9 are seen in new photos shared via the official Love Is Blind Instagram account after gathering for the TV special, which is set to air on Wednesday, October 29, one week after the wedding episode dropped.
The ladies went all out for the special occasion, donning “naked” gowns with plunging necklines, sheer bodices and jewel-embellished designs while the guys were no slouch in the style department either, rocking suave suits and outfits as they came face-to-face with their costars.
And while this season’s many breakups may seem fresh to viewers, it’s been about a year-and-a-half since the episodes were filmed, following Colorado-based singles from the ages of 27 to 41 as they entered the pods in hopes of finding their perfect match.
Although several of the romantic connections started out strong, Joe Ferrucci and Madison Maidenberg, Nick Amato and Annie Lancaster, as well as Patrick Suzuki and Kacie McIntosh called it quits and ended their engagements even before making it down the aisle.
Anton Yarosh and Ali Lima, Edmond Harvey and Kalybriah Haskin, plus Jordan Keltner and Megan Walerius later parted ways — resulting in another surprising turn of events that meant no one tied the knot this season — a first for the reality TV dating experiment.
After seeing some of the outfits in photos from the reunion, season 7 star Taylor Krause commented on the Love Is Blind official Instagram account with a sartorial observation.
“It is quite ironic and that Joe and Nick are matching lol,” she wrote.
As fans may recall, Joe went on a drunken rant about Nick while filming, calling out his presumed lack of bedroom skills with fiancée Annie in a now-viral confessional interview — one he has since expressed remorse over.
“I’ve cooled down on drinking substantially to where I’m not making a fool out of myself every week,” Joe told Us Weekly exclusively in an interview on October 10. “I think I needed to calm down. That was a very interesting time in my life as well, and with the added stress of the show.”
He added, “I think I used that as a coping mechanism, which was really the worst coping mechanism you could use. So, yes, I made some comments about Nick, and I did apologize to him.”
