‘Love on the Spectrum’ star Abbey Romeo sends love to ex David Isaacman after split
“Love on the Spectrum” star Abbey Romeo “liked” David Isaacman’s Instagram upload on the heels of their reported split.
The 27-year-old shared her support for her alleged ex’s upcoming children’s book, “The Big Five Save the Lions.”
Isaacman, 31, debuted the cover on Thursday, writing, “This story is very personal to me — it’s inspired by me and my friends, reimagined as kids and superheroes. We care about protecting animals and standing up for what matters.”
He added, “The characters are also on the autism spectrum, just like me, and that representation means a lot.”
Before thanking his “amazing” team and encouraging his followers to pre-order, Isaacman noted, “Sharing this during Autism Awareness Month makes it even more meaningful — especially while celebrating the new season of Netflix’s ‘Love on the Spectrum.’”
Isaacman went into further detail on the novel’s plot in a subsequent slide, concluding the carousel with a selfie on safari.
He and Romeo met and fell in love in Season 1 of the hit show, which aired in 2021.
News broke of the beloved couple’s breakup on Thursday, with a source telling the US Sun “they couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married.”
The insider claimed that while Romeo “was ready” to walk down the aisle “years ago,” her partner “still needed time.”
Another source told the outlet Isaacman is “doing well.”
Reps for Romeo and Isaacman have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The pair discussed their marriage plans during Season 4 of “Love on the Spectrum,” which premiered April 1.
“Neither one of us are ready to get married,” Romeo told producers.
“We’re already married in our hearts,” the knitter explained, adding that she did not “want to be a divorced lady like [her] mom” and plans to “take [her] time.”
However, she and Isaacman spoke about their future wedding location — the San Diego Zoo Safari Park where the couple had their first date.
And when co-stars Madison Marilla and Tyler White got engaged, Romeo told viewers, “Hopefully, we’re next.”
