Macklemore goes on a walk with parents in Seattle amid Ed Sheeran concert debacle

Macklemore went on a stroll with his parents in Seattle in his first sighting since his concert controversy with Ed Sheeran.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, the “Thrift Shop” rapper was seen taking a walk with his father and mother, Bill Haggerty and Julie Schott, on Wednesday.

In the snaps, Macklemore, born Benjamin Haggerty, walked between his parents while drinking coconut water.

The trio appeared to be engaged in a serious conversation as they walked along the sidewalk.

The three-time Grammy winner, 43, dressed casually for the outing, rocking a pair of jeans and a purple Real Madrid jersey — days after several of the team’s players covered up part of their T-shirts that featured a message of support for Ceuta — the Spanish city in the midst of a migration crisis. (Kylian Mbappé explained Tuesday that he doesn’t “want to prioritize one form of suffering over another.”)

Macklemore’s outing with his family comes two days after news surfaced that he had been dropped from Sheeran’s Loop Tour due to onstage remarks about Palestine and the people of Gaza.

The “Marmalade” emcee took to Instagram with a statement, saying the “Perfect” crooner, 35, and his team removed him from the tour after they had a “painful disagreement.”

Macklemore claimed Sheeran was pressured by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to drop the rapper from the tour due to his political stance.

The “Glorious” hitmaker said the billionaire, whose Kraft Group owns and operates the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, rallied up other stadium owners who collectively gave Sheeran “an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.”

Sheeran claimed in a statement that he “spoke with the venues at length all week to try and build a bridge.”

The “Shape of You” singer also denied having anything to do with Macklemore being pulled from the tour.

“Macklemore coming off tour was the promoter’s decision, it was not mine. Macklemore’s contract for the tour was with the promoter, not me,” he wrote.

“I would never let down the fans who had made plans, nor would I abandon the touring crew and the other support acts and musicians who rely on me for work and to make a living,” Sheeran added.

In solidarity with Macklemore, all of Sheeran’s other tour openers, including Finneas, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe and Beoga, have all dropped out of the Loop Tour.

Finneas wrote on Instagram Tuesday, “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. … I stand with Palestine and its people.”

Fans have also demanded refunds from Ticketmaster after Macklemore was fired.

Amid the controversy, Macklemore announced he was donating his entire $1 million earnings from Sheeran’s tour to six Palestinian aid organizations.

Subsequently, Kraft pledged to donate $2 million to “aid in the region to fight this humanitarian crisis.”

The businessman, 85, insisted that he’s dedicated his life to trying to help people come together and believes that “all lives are worth protecting.”

Kraft also said he was willing to sit and chat with Macklemore to talk about their political differences.
