Marcello Hernandez reunites with Bad Bunny dance partner Tate McRae at ‘SNL’ afterparty
They didn’t go to Puerto Rico, but pals Marcello Hernandez and Tate McRae were spotted hanging out late night at Noho hot spot, Jeans, over the weekend.
The duo had fans typing “iconic” under a video of them dancing to Bad Bunny’s “Voy A LLevarte PA PR,” earlier this year. Their hang on Saturday, however, was a bit more low-key, we’re told.
McRae arrived to the “Saturday Night Live” afterparty with her influencer pal Jake Shane, and we’re told Hernadez dashed straight to their booth when he arrived. “He was mostly talking to Tate. He didn’t leave their area until [McRae and Shane],” a spy told Page Six.
And while the described Hernandez as “flirting” with McRae, we’re told the comedian may already be involved. He brought Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral as his date to the New York City “Happy Gilmore 2” premiere back in July. The two have reportedly been dating since January of this year, according to gossip blog DeuxMoi, which ran a picture of them having dinner together at Marea at the time.
Hernandez found himself in a “Summer House” scandal around the same time with Paige DeSorbo apologizing to him for “embrassing” cheating rumors amid her split from Craig Conover.
DeSorbo said on her “The Giggly Squad” podcast that she had to inform Hernandez about the rumor spreading that she cheated on Conover with him. Hernandez’s responded “like, F–K yeah!” Desorbo recalled.
She revealed Hernandez received hate messages over the rumor and “I was like, ‘Marcello, I am so f–king sorry — like this is so embarrassing,’” she said.
Meanwhile, back at Jean’s, we hear the club kicked civilian partygoers out at 3 a.m., to accomodate the late night bash for the “SNL” crew. The show’s celebrity host, Glen Powell, was on the scene yapping it up with the show’s producers, we’re told. Nina Dobrev was one of his guest at the show for the evening, and was also spotted at Jean’s, we’re told.
And not only did “SNL” get Powell Saturday’s host, he also supplied them with condiments at the afterparty. Guests noshed on burgers and fries drenched his Smash Kitchen condiment line.
Reps for McRae and Hernandez did not comment.
