Mayor Eric Adams’ protégé Alisa Roever teases ‘unconfirmed’ Met gala afterparty at Gracie Mansion

The party was over before it even started.

Mayor Eric Adams’ protege, Alisa Roever, once again, connected him into a pie in the sky event that isn’t happening.

This time it involved the Oscars of fashion, Anna Wintour’s annual Met Gala.

Roever posted to Instagram Stories early Monday that Hizzoner would presumably host an afterparty dubbed “mayor gala” at the city’s pad.

“May 5th after Met Gala… Mayor gala at Gracie Mansion,” her post shared.

She also teased a crypto conference on May 20th at “Gracie mansion!”

Mayor Adams was clueless when we reached out for details about the alleged events.

A rep for the NYC pol told us the alleged event, “was never confirmed or scheduled.”

“Can’t tell you where this came from since it was never discussed, let alone approved, on our end,” the rep added.

Roever had taken the post down by Monday afternoon.

She replied, “Sorry, not anymore,” when we asked about the Gracie Mansion party.

This isn’t the first time the mayor’s pal has hyped up his schedule.

In October, she had organizers at Denise Rich’s annual Angel Ball eagerly anticipating his arrival, only for him to not show.

She told us at the time that his “scheduler said he had a meeting in Westchester.” It was, however, unbeknownst to Adams — and his rep told us the mayor “was never scheduled to attend the event.”

She and Adams’ brother, Bernard, oversaw another canceled gala for their charity, Angels Helpers.

For that event, the mayor’s pal promised an appearance and a speech from Adams, whose spokesperson told us, he “was never asked about, never agreed to, and will not be participating in this dinner that was auctioned off without his permission” at the time.

Tickets for that event went for up to $11,000, with some guests explaining they were never notified about the cancellation or offered a refund. (A lawyer for the charity insisted at the time, “Everyone has been refunded.”)

Roever did not get back to us with an explanation about her latest snafu.

As for whether Mayor Adams will pop up on the red carpet at the Met Gala on the famed first Monday in May?

“Have to see if he will be able to attend. We’re still looking at the mayor’s schedule since it’s more than a month out,” his rep said.
