Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, debuts its first product

Don’t be jelly.
Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, has debuted its first product: rustic jars of fresh jam.
Friends of the Duchess of Sussex flocked to social media Monday to share photos of the fruit preserves stamped with the company’s name and logo and wrapped in a decorative neutral cloth and string bow.
Designer Tracy Robbins posted an Instagram Story snap of the jam inside a basket filled with lemons and thanked Markle, 42, for sending her the gift.
“Thank you for the delicious basket!” Robbins wrote. “I absolutely love this jam so not sure i’m sharing with anyone :).”
She then tagged the brand’s account, adding, “Thank you M!” with a white heart emoji.
Robbins shared a second photo of herself holding the container, which was one of 50 jars made, adding that “breakfast, lunch and dinner just got a little sweater.”
Markle and the fashionista, who is the wife of Paramount boss Brian Robbins, appear to have become friends after attending the “Bob Marley: One Love” film premiere in Jamaica earlier this year.
Argentine socialite Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Prince Harry’s close buddy and polo player Nacho Figueras, also shared a glimpse of the tasty spread.
“Strawberry 🍓 jam makes me happy,” she captioned an Instagram Story photo of the glass jar in her hand. “And I ❤️ your jam @americanrivieraorchard.”
She also posted a second snap of the jam spread on a piece of toast, neatly plated with sliced strawberries.
The photographer enjoyed the toast and jam with a green juice and an accompanying cheese plate.
The gift baskets appeared to be a soft launch of the product, as the brand’s website remains blank.
Markle debuted American Riviera Orchard in March when she launched an Instagram page dedicated to the project and an accompanying website allowing shoppers to sign up for a wait-list.
An insider told Page Six Style at the time that the business would focus on home, garden, food and general lifestyle wares.
“She’s been working on this for over a year, and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about,” an industry source shared.
A trademark application obtained by Page Six Style revealed that American Riviera Orchard would sell an assortment of home goods, including edible treats like jellies, jams and spreads, and tableware staples like cutlery, table linens and drinkware. Cookbooks are also covered in the filing.
