While reflecting on their separation during an appearance on a recent edition of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Javid said, “Tommy and I are in a really good place.”
“We talk every day, of course, and I mean multiple times,” she continued. “I think the quality of our relationship is more authentic. That was the year of the snake, and now it’s the horse, and so we shed what didn’t make sense about the relationship.”
Javid told host Andy Cohen that co-parenting is going “really well,” with the couple making Shams their priority.
When asked if there was “a specific moment or incident that made you realize the marriage was over,” Javid didn’t hold back.
“I felt like on the 4th of July, I might have hit my last straw,” she said, noting that the couple was done filming the show by then.
“I’ve lived in a lot of disappointment and heartbreak over the years,” said Javid. “And I think it stopped making sense.”
Cohen then asked Javid whether or not her occasionally “tense” relationship with her mother, Vida, had an impact on the marriage.
Javid admitted that she was sometimes on edge when her mom is around because “she’s so hypercritical of me,” but ultimately said that Vida couldn’t be blamed for the couple’s failed marriage.
When asked about an incident that occurred in an episode of The Valley: Persian Style, Javid also said that Feight’s use of inappropriate language around their child was not a factor in their divorce because “that’s superficial and correctable.”
She and Feight tied the knot in April 2018 and welcomed their son one year later, in April 2019. The former couple first met on Tinder and went on to get engaged in 2015 after over a year together.
Javid admitted when asked if she misses anything about her relationship with Feight that she still loves him and misses “everything, but maybe who he was in the beginning.”
