Nina Dobrev and Shaun White have reportedly called off their engagement and split after being together for five years.

“It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another,” a source close to the pair told People Thursday.

The pro snowboarder, 39, and Dobrev, 36, were last photographed together on Aug. 31 while running errands in Los Angeles.

The “Vampire Diaries” star also shared photos via Instagram on Monday where her engagement ring was on full display, though it’s unclear when the pics were taken.

However, on Saturday, Dobrev walked the red carpet at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival without her ring. She also unpinned the photos of their engagement from her Instagram profile.

It’s unclear when the split happened or why.

In October 2024, the couple confirmed their engagement, with White captioning his Instagram post, “She said YES 💍♾️.”

Dobrev also celebrated the milestone by posting images, writing, “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé 💍♾️.”

White popped the question by presenting Dobrev with a stunning 5-carat diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz inside a room full of flowers at New York City hotspot The Golden Swan.

The duo went public with their romance in April 2020, a year after meeting at an event for motivational speaker Tony Robbins, where they were both scheduled to present.

“I actually didn’t know anything about her,” White told Vogue about Dobrev, who agreed to have dinner with him after the event.

The “Degrassi” star eventually hard-launched their relationship by posting a photo with White in May 2020.

In 2022, White hinted at wanting to have kids with Dobrev when he shared that he would “love to be a dad.”

“It’s just something that seems so exciting, you know?” he told Us Weekly that January. “I love being around people, and I love the idea of having someone other than my own pursuits to look after.”

Reps for the exes did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
