North West raps about ‘betrayal’ and ‘suffering’ in new song after canceling tour

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 13-year-old daughter, North West, released a new song about “betrayal” and “suffering.”

In the horror-inspired music video for “Aishite,” released Thursday, the teen haunts the halls of a school and an arcade.

Also in the video, North wears white lipstick with a black skull design and smiles to reveal black teeth. The teen also shows off her hand piercings and wears a long icy blue wig in pigtails.

In the first verse, North sings, “Ayy, ain’t nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy) / Why can’t I escape? ‘Cause they chase me (They chase me) / Just love me, everyone betrays me.”

She goes on to sing, “I’m seein’ blood daily (Daily)/ What? And it’s drivin’ me crazy (Crazy)/ Yeah, can’t escape ’cause they chase me.”

In the next verse she continues to explore feelings of betrayal, singing, “She pretend, they ain’t usin’ me again (What?) / Can’t be no one’s friend, I can’t let nobody in’ before adding, ‘Can’t depend on anyone, the sufferin’ won’t end.”

Many of the comments on the music video voiced concern for North, considering the dark themes of the song.

“This song is really sad. I was depressed at 13 too , hopefully North gets the love and support she needs from somewhere,” one wrote.

“The pain is felt in this song. I feel bad for her!! I hope she gets the help she needs!” another added.

Last month, North canceled her first headlining tour less than a week before the kickoff show.

“I was really excited to go on tour with Molly Santana,” she told her followers in a since-deleted post promising “something special” for fans in the future.

“See ya soon,” the teen concluded.

North had been set to do a 14-date Kimokawaii Tour with Molly Santana.

Santana, for her part, wrote, “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there.”

“Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and I hope to see you soon,” the rapper, 21, continued on Friday. “You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly.”

She vowed to “make this one up” to supporters, adding, ” I love y’all so much. … Black punk otw & be right back.”

In May, the duo took the stage together at Rolling Loud in Miami, North’s first music festival performance.

The show came on the heels of North releasing her EP, “N0rth4evr.”

Back in February, Kardashian dished on her eldest child’s aspiring music career, and compared North to her rapper father.

“She loves producing music and wanted to share it with the world and isn’t afraid if people will like it,” the reality star told Complex at the time.

“She’s like her dad in that if she likes it, that’s enough for her, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions. I’m proud of her for that, for releasing music, having fun with it, and doing it her own way.”
