Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) settle in quickly to Wellsbury, MA, but Georgia’s past constantly threatens to catch up with them.

At the same time, Ginny has plenty of drama of her own, quickly becoming entangled with boy-next-door Marcus (Felix Mallard) and forming a friendship with his sister Maxine (Sara Waisglass). A romantic, intense show that also has a lot of funny moments, Ginny & Georgia is a perfect next step for Sullivan’s Crossing fans.

‘Ransom Canyon’ (2025-Present)

Based on the novels by Jodi Thomas, Ransom Canyon has been a smash hit for Netflix. Like Sully (Scott Patterson) in Sullivan’s Crossing, Texas rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) is a pillar of his small community. But he’s grieving the loss of both his wife and his teenage son, who died in a car accident.

When corporate interests begin to vie for the land he calls home, he must put aside his stoicism and learn to lean on local dance hall owner and family friend Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly) for support. Scheming and slow-burn romances rule the day in this small-town drama — and things get more heated as secrets about Staten’s son’s death are revealed.

‘Gilmore Girls’ (2000-2007)

Gilmore Girls not only stars Patterson as Luke Danes, it also features Sullivan’s Crossing star Chad Michael Murray in the first season. One of the first and best small-town family and romance shows, Gilmore Girls follows Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) Gilmore.

Lorelai ran away from home and had Rory at 16, meaning it’s been them against the world for years — but when Rory gets into an expensive private school, Lorelai is forced to reconnect with her wealthy parents (Kelly Bishop and Edward Herrmann) for weekly Friday night dinners with the whole family.
