Olandria Makes Her NYFW Debut for Sergio Hudson — And Has A Special Person Cheering Her On!

Olandria Carthen is ripping the runway for New York Fashion Week!

The Love Island USA season 7 star made her NYFW debut when she strutted her stuff at the Sergio Hudson fashion show in the Big Apple on Friday, Sept. 12. 

Cameras captured the reality TV star walking the runway in an abstract orange, black and nude jacket with embellished sleeves that stopped just below her elbows. 

The designer garment was paired with black mini shorts and accessorized with a black and gold belt to cinch her waist. 

She styled it with strappy black heels and gold hoop earrings, and her nails featured a classic French tip oval manicure. Olandria rounded off her look with a sleek low bun. 

Attendees couldn’t help but take notice of one of her biggest fans sitting front and center — Nic Vansteenberghe.

“This is everything, they are EVERYTHING!!” the Instagram account for Marie Claire captioned a video of Nic pulling his cell phone out to record Olandria’s big moment. He grinned from ear to ear while doing so, simultaneously hyping her up.

Serena Page, the winner of Love Island USA season 6, sat beside him while wearing a red blazer and pants set, with blonde hair and bleached brows to match.

Ahead of the fashion show, the fan favorite couple each posted the same car selfie to their Instagram Stories, with “The VanCarthens” written on top along with a black heart emoji.

Nic and Olandria were season 7 runners-up on the hit Peacock series.

However, their relationship wasn’t without challenges, as before they ended up together, Nic was coupled with Cierra Ortega, whom Olandria had become friends with in the villa. 

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in July, Olandria said allowing herself to fall for Nic was difficult because of her friendship with her castmate before Cierra’s controversial, sudden departure.

“I didn’t allow myself to feel that spark. If I’m being honest, yes, there was [one],” Olandria told PEOPLE.

She continued, “I was like, ‘You know what? I feel so guilty. I’m just going to write it off and say that there wasn’t, out of respect for Cierra.’ ”

“I always preach about girlhood and sisterhood and all that stuff. So I just wanted to stay true to my word,” Olandria added of Nic previously being coupled with Cierra.

Despite their tangled start, even those among the show are Team NicOlandria.

“S—, I’m all for it,” Taylor Williams, who was actually first coupled up with Olandria in the villa, told PEOPLE.

“The universe keeps putting them together for a reason,” Taylor added. “So I’m all for it. I hope they end up working out and keep the [relationship] going.”
