Olivia Rodrigo and Boyfriend Louis Partridge Step Out for Dinner in L.A. in Matching Checkered Outfits

Olivia Rodrigo is living out her teenage dream with boyfriend Louis Partridge.

The “Vampire” singer, 21, was spotted on a rare dinner date night with her actor boyfriend, 20, in Los Angeles on Friday, April 19. This comes after Rodrigo’s surprise appearance onstage at Coachella alongside No Doubt last weekend.

The couple matched in casual checkered-themed outfits, with Rodrigo wearing a red and white dress with a large black coat over it. She accessorized with a matching red purse and white socks and black Mary Jane-style platform shoes. The singer wore her hair hair down for the outing and sported light makeup and red lipstick.

As for Partridge, he wore a blue and burgundy checkered shirt, blue jeans and green Adidas sneakers. He also sported on his wrists what appeared to be some multicolored friendship bracelets as he led Rodrigo out of the restaurant. 

The pair first sparked romance rumors in October 2023, when they were spotted spending time together in London after the release of her GUTS album. They were also seen stepping out together at the Saturday Night Live afterparty on Dec. 9, when Rodrigo was the show’s musical guest.

A few days later, they seemingly confirmed their romance when they were spotted kissing at a gas station in New York City. Later that week, they were photographed taking a stroll together in upstate New York. 

A source told PEOPLE at the time of their excursion, “They were very cute and [were] overheard saying it was their first time in the area. They mostly spoke with gazes and body language. It was very cute.”

Despite this, the young couple has mostly kept their relationship private — something the Enola Holmes actor opened up about in a March 17 interview with British Vogue.

“Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye,” Partridge told the outlet after being asked about Rodrigo. “There’s enough going on between two people. You don’t need the voices of thousands of others in your head.”

“I think she’s got it a lot worse than I have,” he added. “I can be a bit of a normal person. She’s got tons and tons of eyes on her.”

Rodrigo was last linked to DJ Zack Bia. The singer-songwriter and the record producer, 27, dated for six months in 2022. She also previously dated film producer Adam Faze briefly in 2021.

As for Partridge, he was previously linked to Sydney Chandler, his Pistol costar and the daughter of actor Kyle Chandler.
