‘Polo’ showrunner gushes over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry: They ‘were wonderful to work with’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were “wonderful” to work with, according to the showrunner of their most recent docuseries.
“They were really great collaborative partners,” “Polo” showrunner Miloš Balać told Us Weekly of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“It was just easy to constantly have conversations with them about what we’re showing and how we’re showing it.”
Balać said the pair came into the show because they wanted to “grow the world of polo” and remove some of the stereotypes surrounding the sport.
He also noted that although the Harry has grown up playing polo, it’s also “one of his greatest passions” and “he was really a driving force in trying to tell these stories.
“Meghan, to her credit, is also a huge fan,” Balać added. “Harry brought her into that world, and on her own has just really is so tuned in and knows what’s going on.”
The “Suits” alum, 43, makes a brief appearance in the final episode of the documentary series, which came out Tuesday.
She was filmed cheering on Prince Harry at the Sentebale Polo Challenge in Wellington, Fla., alongside her pal Serena Williams.
The couple smooched after Markle presented Harry with a trophy following the match, which took place in April.
The series centers around the 2024 US Open Polo Championship and also moments from the 2024 Sentebale Polo Cup, an annual match benefiting the charity organization — whose CEO stepped down Tuesday — Prince Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho.
Page Six revealed in April that the pair was in the early stages of production on two projects with the streaming service.
The other series will star Markle as she shares “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship.”
It is set to come out in early 2025.
