Prince Harry and King Charles reunite in London for first time in over a year

Prince Harry and King Charles III have reunited for the first time in over a year.
The Duke of Sussex was spotted arriving at the King’s London home, Clarence House, around 5:20 p.m. local time Wednesday, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
Harry, 40, rolled up to his estranged father’s residence in a black SUV.
The father-son duo have not met up in person since February 2024 after Charles announced that he was being treated for cancer.
It wasn’t immediately clear why Harry and Charles, 76, joined together, though the “Spare” author was spotted in the UK earlier this week for several events.
Harry was seen at the Wellchild Awards and also honored Queen Elizabeth II’s memory at her burial site on the anniversary of her death. The next day, he attended an event in Nottingham, England.
The red-headed royal returned to London Wednesday for a visit to Imperial College London’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies.
They found themselves in the same city Wednesday when Charles returned to London from his getaway at Balmore Castle in Scotland. The reigning monarch then made his way to Clarence House.
Harrys’ rep did not immediatly respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The sovereign and his son have been caught in a years-long estrangement since Harry resigned form the royal family in 2020.
At the time, he and wife Meghan Markle moved to California, where they now reside with their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Since moving across the pond, Harry and the Duchess of Sussex have given several scathing interviews about the royal family. Harry also discussed his feud with his dad and brother, Prince William, in his 2023 memoir.
Harry has been open about wanting to bury the hatchet with his father — and reports swirled last month that they would be getting together during his latest UK visit.
“Nobody is pretending the wider family issues have been resolved, but this is about beginning with Charles and Harry,” a source told The Mirror at the time, adding, “For the first time in a long time, there’s a genuine sense that reconciliation is within reach.”
But there’s less hope for Harry and William to get back on good terms.
The “With Love, Meghan” host, for her part, has not returned to London since attending Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022.
