Prince Harry goes casual at polo match as Meghan Markle and kids stay home
Solo dolo.
Prince Harry went for a casual look to watch a polo match as his wife, Meghan Markle, and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, skipped the event.
In new photos obtained by Page Six, the Duke of Sussex could be seen on the sidelines watching longtime pal Nacho Figueras’ son Artemio compete in Montecito, California, on Monday.
A barefoot Harry, 41, sat on the grass as he took in the competition, wearing a black polo shirt with the number three on the sleeve and a pair of charcoal shorts.
He also paired his look with a pair of sunglasses and a beige baseball cap.
Though Artemio’s team was defeated on the field, he won a prize for having the best polo pony.
Harry and Figueras’ friendship began in 2007 when they met at a charity polo match in England. They have frequently collaborated on several philanthropy and media projects.
Harry’s solo outing comes two weeks after he and Markle — who tied the knot in May 2018 — celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary by sharing never-before-seen photos.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to Instagram to share several snaps from their first dance as newlyweds. In the snaps, the couple spun together and sweetly wrapped their arms around each other.
The Sussexes also locked lips while their wedding guests joined them on the dance floor.
In a second post, the “Suits” actress shared several intimate snaps of their wedding ceremony.
Two years after their nuptials, Harry and Markle quit the royal family and moved to North America with their son, Archie, now 7.
The couple welcomed daughter Lilibet, now 4, in June 2021.
The family of four now resides in a $14 million mansion in Montecito. The sprawling estate features nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a swimming pool, tennis court and a private theater.
