Prince Harry seen out in UK for the first time as King Charles clarifies his working royals status

Prince Harry stepped out at a podcast studio for his first public appearance since relocating back to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two kids.

The Duke of Sussex appeared in good spirits at Tower Bridge Studios in London on Monday, per an Instagram photo dump posted by the facility.

He beamed while standing next to a wall printed with the studio’s name and covered with signatures from past guests.

Harry, 40, even signed the wall with a white Sharpie, as onlookers snapped photos.

“Thank you Prince Harry for choosing Tower Bridge Studios!” the company captioned the snaps.

“It was an absolute pleasure to have you in our studios and signing our wall 📸 we look forward to welcoming you back again.”

Harry travelled to the studio solo, without Markle, 45, or their two kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5.

The “Spare” author’s sighting comes after King Charles reportedly confirmed that his son and Markle weren’t working royals despite their move back to England last month.

According to the BBC, Lord Chamberlain sent a letter on behalf of the 77-year-old monarch, stating that Markle and Harry aren’t allowed to use His and Her Royal Highness titles and are “private citizens with commercial and charitable interests.”

“It is well known that in January 2020 the Duke and Duchess stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of the Sovereign, and are no longer working Members of the Royal Family,” the letter allegedly read.

“The charitable work of the Duke and Duchess is a personal matter for them both and undertaken in their private capacity.”

The letter also reportedly doubled down on Markle and Harry taking a “half-in and half-out” status, saying they are unable to be working royals while simultaneously working on their independent businesses.

The “Suits” alum and Harry, who wed in 2018, moved to Montecito, California, in 2020 after resigning from their royal duties.

Sources told Page Six last month that the Sussexes were moving back to the UK temporarily to be close to Charles as he continues to battle cancer. The duo is residing in a non-royal residence.

Despite relocating, Harry maintains rocky relationships with some members of the royal family, including his brother Prince William, after detailing their rough past in his 2021 tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey and his 2023 memoir, “Spare.”
