Rapper Future hit with paternity suit over ex’s 9-year-old son: report
Rapper Future is reportedly facing a paternity suit by an ex claiming he’s the father of her 9-year-old son.
According to a report from TMZ, Future’s ex, Layla Sanad, has been battling him in in court.
Sanad filed the suit in Florida to establish paternity and an order requiring him to pay child support, including two years of retroactive support.
Sanad she was in a romantic relationship with Future (real name Nayvadius Cash) and claims they had a son — identified by his initials K.W. — born in 2017. She claims Future admits to being the father.
Future reportedly has responded by filing court documents of his own asking for the Florida case to be dismissed in favor of “a more convenient forum.”
In the filing, he reportedly claims that Sanad and her son lived in Arizona, and that he already filed his own case in that state.
The court has not yet ruled on that filing, per the outlet.
Also per the outlet, in the Arizona case, Future said he is the father of a son named Kash Wilburn. He claimed he was voluntarily paying Sanad $3,500 monthly in child support.
A representative for Future was not immediately available to Page Six.
Future reportedly has at least seven children. He shares 11-year-old son Future Zahir with ex Ciara.
The couple got engaged in October 2013 but called it quits the following August, just two months after they welcomed their son.
Ciara is now a mom of four with husband and New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson.
