Rebel Wilson reveals at what age she ‘truly experienced an orgasm for the first time’

She’s from Down Under, but never had much experience down under.
Australian comedian and actress Rebel Wilson revealed in her recently released memoir, “Rebel Rising,” that she “truly experienced an orgasm for the first time” when she was 39 years old, according to People.
She did so by herself after listening to sex podcasts and buying toys meant for pleasure.
“Is this what I was missing out on?” she recalled thinking once she climaxed for the first time.
Wilson said she reached the big “O” after going on about 50 first dates and having sex with two of the people she was seeing. She nicknamed this period in her life — during the year 2019 — her “Year of Love.” (Notably, she dubbed 2020 her “Year of Health” and lost 60 pounds.)
“I’d never really learned about orgasms,” she reasoned for her late blossoming in her book.
“When I’d had sex over the past few years, I’d never really thought about my pleasure,” she further explained. “It was more about the guy climaxing, and then pretty quickly sex was over.”
The “Pitch Perfect” actress added that she had certainly “experienced pleasure” at some points, but never reached a climax like her male counterparts.
“… My research for my ‘Year of Love’ taught me that there was so much more to sex than just the guy getting off,” she wrote. “I should have been orgasming too. That should have been a priority.”
After her “Year of Love,” Wilson, now 44, dated businessman Jacob Busch for several months between 2020 and 2021. Their split was confirmed in February 2021.
She then went on to find love with fashion designer Ramona Agruma.
Page Six reported they got engaged in November 2022. However, they did not announce the news until February 2023. By then, Wilson had already welcomed a baby girl via surrogate.
The “Senior Year” star also revealed in “Rebel Rising” that she lost her virginity at 35 years old to actor Mickey Gooch Jr.
“Not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager,” she told People ahead of her memoir’s debut. “People can wait till they’re ready or wait till they’re a bit more mature.”
“And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.”
“Rebel Rising” debuted on April 2.
