RHOP Star Gizelle Bryant Reveals If She’ll Ever Get Married Again (Exclusive)

Gizelle Bryant is opening up about her love life.

During the premiere screening of Love Hotel in Bel Air, Calif., on Sunday, April 27, The Real Housewives of Potomac star, 54, spoke with PEOPLE about whether or not she’d ever walk down the aisle again now that she’s back on the dating scene.

Even though the divorcée is admittedly hesitant about signing a contract, that doesn’t mean she isn’t hoping for a lifelong commitment. 

“I think maybe a — what do you call those things? A commitment ceremony,” Gizelle tells PEOPLE. “Yes, that’s not legally binding. It could be like a wedding of sorts.”

Gizelle was previously married to Jamal Bryant, 53, from 2002 until 2009, famously splitting after Jamal had an affair. The Bravo star and the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor briefly rekindled their romance in 2019, but afterward Gizelle was fine with them being “best friends” instead.

In November 2024, Jamal married fellow pastor Dr. Karri Turner. Meanwhile, Gizelle — who shares daughters Grace, 20, and twins Angel and Adore, who turn 19 on April 30, with Jamal — is looking for love on her new dating reality series.

“I’m now at a phase of life, let’s say, with dating that I… Typically in the past, the fans have seen me not really care. I was kind of like willy-nilly, all over the place, but no more,” Gizelle tells PEOPLE. “I want to be able to find my guy and really be in a committed relationship.”

Bravo’s Love Hotel follows eligible singles who embark on a quest to win the hearts of four of the Real Housewives franchise’s biggest bachelorettes — Gizelle, Luann de Lesseps (The Real Housewives of New York City), Shannon Storms Beador (The Real Housewives of Orange County) and Ashley Darby (The Real Housewives of Potomac).

On the premiere episode, Gizelle chose contestant Jason “Jay” Bramble to accompany her on the first one-on-one date of the season. After indulging in a few light bites and a complete tequila tasting, the pair were surprised with tacos, which had a hefty price tag of $25,000 each.

Elsewhere during their date, Gizelle opened up about the qualities she was looking for in her next partner.

“Transparency, accountability and sexually proficient,” she told Jay. 

Although Jay agreed with all of Gizelle’s desired characteristics, she confessed that she wasn’t sure if he was the right fit.

“So Jay’s in the middle of like, ‘do I want to bang him or do I just want to get to know him better?’ ” she told cameras. “Because yes, he’s attractive, but he’s just not turning on juices for Gizelle to feel like, ‘This is it! Let me get it on.’ He’s just a little boring.”
