Sarah Jane Ramos’ bridesmaid addresses Dak Prescott dating rumors
Sarah Jane Ramos’ would-be bridesmaid from her canceled wedding to Dak Prescott has spoken out after being spotted getting cozy with the NFL star.
“I think that this is the opportunity to make sure that everyone knows that I am single,” the former couple’s friend Caitlin Rance said in an Instagram Story, while sipping from a beverage.
“I have a very active Raya profile,” she continued. “And we’re just here to have a good time.” Rance then clinked her glass with a nearby pal as both smiled.
Page Six confirmed that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback attended a Pro Bull Riders event in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday with Rance after TMZ first reported the news.
Multiple eyewitnesses said though they were with friends — including some Cowboys players — they were holding hands and behaving like a couple.
The group was said to have headed to a nearby concert following the event, with the pair allegedly leaving together afterwards.
While having brunch together the following day, the pair denied they’re an item — Page Six called Rance for comment before she handed the phone over to Prescott.
Prescott, 32, and Rance, 35, have been friends since they attended Mississippi State University together.
Rance, a former NCAA Division I volleyball player for MSU, was set to be a bridesmaid for Prescott’s planned wedding to Ramos. There’s no indication Prescott and Rance were romantically involved prior to his split from Ramos.
The athlete attended their joint bachelor/bachelorette getaway to the Bahamas back in March — where Ramos discovered the football star’s alleged infidelity and canceled their planned nuptials in Lake Como, Italy just weeks before the scheduled April 10 ceremony.
Ramos, 32, found out that Prescott was allegedly sending inappropriate messages to ex-girlfriends and other women under incognito social media profiles.
A source told us at the time that though she was under the impression Prescott had been communicating with other women, Ramos stayed with him for the sake of their family, and gave him an ultimatum back in January.
Per TMZ, the former couple sent an email to friends and family informing them of their decision to call of the wedding.
“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” they wrote, adding an apology for the inconvenience and noting that they “welcome your prayers.”
Prescott and Ramos — who share daughters Margaret Jane, 2, and Aurora Rayne, 11 months — reached an informal temporary custody agreement for their daughters in April.
