Sasha Farber’s Comment on Ex-Wife Emma Slater’s PDA-Filled Post for Boyfriend Alan Bersten Has Fans ‘Crying’

Sasha Farber is showing love to Emma Slater and Alan Bersten.

The Dancing with the Stars alum, 41, left a kind comment under his ex-wife’s Instagram tribute to Bersten on Tuesday, Nov. 18 — shortly after the dancer, 31, secured his place as a DWTS finalist.

Slater, 36, posted a clip of herself sharing a kiss with Bersten in the ballroom after the show’s semifinals on Tuesday, along with three additional photos from the celebratory moment. “My boyfriend is a finalist. Again. 🥹🥹🥹🥹,” she captioned the video.

“What a pure champion. I’m so proud of you @alanbersten. And im SO PROUD OF YOU @elaine4animals,” Slater added of Bersten’s celebrity partner, Elaine Hendrix. “I have a kiss for you also btw 😂😂😂😂 congratulations you both, you BOTH deserve it so so much. Team Elaine ❤️🫶🏻 “

Slater, meanwhile, was partnered with the since-eliminated Andy Richter this season.

In response to the post, Farber — who tied the knot with Slater in 2018 before they split four years later — shared a heartfelt comment. “Congrats guys 👏,” he wrote.

While some fans commented in response that they were “crying” at Farber’s reaction, others praised him for his “maturity” and being a “class act.”

“Thanks sash 🙌🏻,” Slater responded.

As for Bersten, he commented under the post with “I love you baby 😍😍😍.”

Indeed, Bersten and Hendrix will be moving on to the DWTS finale next week after the pair performed a Foxtrot to “I Wanna Be Your Lover” and a Paso Doble to “When Doves Cry” during the show’s Prince-themed evening. The latter earned them a perfect score of 30/30.

Speaking with PEOPLE at the ABC Summer Soirée in Los Angeles in September, Slater explained how she and Bersten offer each other some assistance during DWTS rehearsals. The pair confirmed their relationship back in April.

“Alan came into our dance rehearsal and helped out with some things,” she said. “I came into their dance rehearsal, helped out. It’s great to be supportive like that.”

“She pulls him over when she’s trying to figure something out, and she knows I won’t be able to do it,” Richter, 58, added. “She goes, ‘Just do this and see how it looks.’

“And I’m like, ‘Are you watching, Andy?’ ” Slater chimed in.

The Dancing with the Stars finale airs Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
