See Britney Spears dangerously swerve as she drives home after night out with friend
Britney Spears was filmed swerving dangerously while driving home from a night out Wednesday.
Shocking video footage shows the pop star leaving the Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, Calif., despite others appearing to urge her not to get behind the wheel.
The singer’s vehicle went on to make an erratic U-turn, with her tires screeching.
The Grammy winner, who was caught on camera seemingly eating at a red light and tailgating another car, also meandered into other lanes — and a bike lane — as she headed home.
At one point, Spears’ black BMW convertible crossed the road’s center divider.
Spears, upon reaching her house, allegedly struggled to get past the gate for nearly a half hour.
“She would key it in and drive up to the gate, but the gate would not open,” a source told the Daily Mail on Thursday. “She did this three or four times.”
The “Crossroads” star also turned heads with her behavior at the restaurant earlier that evening, with the 43-year-old holding hands with another patron and walking around.
For the outing, the performer sported a yellow off-the-shoulder top, white shorts, a black hat and sandals.
The outlet’s insider claimed Spears has been “spiral[ing]” over her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s new memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” as it has “reopen[ed] old wounds.”
The songwriter is in a “tailspin” and “acting out,” the source claimed.
Federline’s tell-all has been making headlines all month with bombshell claims ranging from Spears doing cocaine while breastfeeding their boys to cheating with a backup dancer during their short-lived marriage.
The 47-year-old’s book also describes various moments Spears allegedly got violent with Federline, as well as sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19.
Although Federline recently insisted the memoir came “from a place of understanding” and was meant “to help” his ex-wife, Spears — and her spokesperson — have hit back at the release as a money grab.
“If you really love someone then you don’t help them by humiliating them,” the “Toxic” singer tweeted last week.
