See Chad Lowe’s final red carpet appearance with daughter Fiona before her death at 13

Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, made a final red carpet appearance with their daughter Fiona years before her heartbreaking death at the age of 13.

The couple took Fiona, along with their daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, out for a rare family outing at the red carpet premiere of Marvel’s “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” on Feb. 04, 2023, in Burbank, California.

The family of five was all smiles, with Mabel cozying up to the “Pretty Little Liars” alum and Fiona and Nixie posing close with their mom.

While the Lowe family strayed away from paparazzi-filled outings, Chad, 58, often took to Instagram to share photos of their adventures and gush over his daughters on their birthdays.

Last October, the “Life Goes On” alum shared heartwarming photos from his family’s getaway to Tennessee, captioning it, “Autumn in Tennessee with my crew!”

The sweet photos showed his daughters posing together on a bench during a sun-filled day at a pumpkin patch.

A few weeks later, on Nov. 15, Chad honored Fiona’s 13th birthday with a special tribute alongside a photo of her smiling on a porch.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!” he wrote, along with several red heart emojis.

The Lowe family announced Fiona’s death via a statement to Page Six on Tuesday.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance,” the statement read.

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”

Additionally, the staff at Fiona’s school announced the death of a student on Tuesday morning, though they didn’t name her.

“It is with deep sadness that I am calling you to advise you of the death of one of our students,” the email read. “Our sincere condolences go out to the student’s family, friends and teachers.”

Chad — the younger brother of Rob Lowe — notably adored being a girl dad and shared on an August 2024 episode of the “Still Here Hollywood” podcast how it was a privilege.

“It takes what I’ve known intellectually about women and all of equality and the glass ceiling that’s there, and how it’s a misogynistic world in a lot of ways,” he said. “And it’s put it in my heart, because I have three daughters, and so I look at the world, really, from their perspective.”
