‘Selling Sunset’ axes 4 cast members in brutal group firing ahead of Season 10: report
Four “Selling Sunset” cast members reportedly got the axe ahead of season 10 of the Netflix series.
Mary Bonnet, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani and Sandra Vergara (Sofia Vergara’s sister) will no longer be on the show, TMZ reported Tuesday. According the outlet, the women were informed in April that their contracts weren’t getting renewed ahead of filming the new season.
Sources said that Bre Tiesi and Bonnet’s BFF, Amanza Smith, will be returning.
Page Six has reached out to Netflix for comment.
Bonnet’s firing is particularly surprising given that she’s been an original cast member since the show debuted in 2019.
As for Hernan, she joined in season 4, while Lazkani joined in season 5. Vergara joined in season 9.
Last month, original cast member Christine Quinn announced her surprising return to the show after quitting in 2022 amid intense drama with her castmates — including Bonnet, Hernan, El Moussa and Chrishell Stause, who left in November 2025 after nine seasons.
Hernan accused Quinn of bribing a client with $5,000 to work with her instead of Hernan, which Quinn denied.
Quinn told Netflix’s Tudum of her return, “This isn’t a rewind, it’s a reintroduction. I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity.”
She added, “I’m still ambitious and direct, but I think people will see a version of me that’s more centered and even more sure of herself. I’m hoping this chapter feels fresh and honest.”
“I’m not coming back to play an old version of myself. I’m coming back to show where I am now and let the audience see that growth can still come with an edge.”
After Quinn announced her departure from the show in 2022, sources told Page Six that she was focusing on bigger and better things.
“Her goals are far bigger than playing a villain on an ensemble reality series,” one source said at the time. “She can’t wait to start the next chapter of her career and show the world who she truly is.”
Meanwhile, Bonnet appeared on Page Six’s “Virtual Real-Tea” in November, when she shared why she quit drinking.
“It used to help,” she said of drinking alcohol amid the pressures of appearing on reality TV as well as handling big real estate deals for the Oppenheim Group. “Something would be stressful and … it would just take the edge off. And then when you live this life, well, every day there is something crazy, dramatic going on. And then I started feeling like it was just causing more anxiety.”
“Nothing bad happened, no one ever noticed,” she also shared. “I didn’t drop the ball on anything. But for me, just for my health, for my mental health, I thought, ‘We’re gonna take a break.’ And I did. And it was easy. I feel good, I feel great.”
