Shakira Spotted With ‘Lincoln Lawyer’ Star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo at Dinner in Hollywood
Shakira is presumably getting friendly with The Lincoln Lawyer star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
Shakira, 49, and Garcia-Rulfo, 45, were spotted outside the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, California, on Monday, June 15, according to photos obtained by Page Six. The outlet reported that the pair “smiled and chatted with another” while waiting for the valet.
Neither Shakira nor Garcia-Rulfo has publicly addressed their relationship status. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
While Garcia-Rulfo was previously romantically linked to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter Audrey in 2023, Shakira has been single since 2024 after brief flings with Lucien Laviscount and Jimmy Butler. (The Colombian pop star’s romances came on the heels of her breakup from Gerard Piqué after 12 years together.)
“Oh no, no romance for me for now. There’s no space or time in my life for that,” Shakira told The Times of London in a profile published last month. “My plate is quite full. My kids are my priority, and my career. Strangely enough, I’m in love with my career like I’ve never been in my life. I’m enjoying my time alone as well.”
Shakira and Piqué, 39, share sons Milan, 13, and Sasha, 11. The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer and the retired soccer star were together from 2010 to 2022.
“I will always have that gratitude in my heart for the father of my kids and [for] turning me into the mother that I am today,” Shakira told The Times of Piqué, calling their breakup one of the “darkest” moments in her life. “I saw the dissolution of my family, the family that I had dreamt to keep forever. I’ve been through so much pain, but it has made me perhaps in an unforeseen way a wiser person — or stronger, at least.”
She continued at the time, “They say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and it is true. It’s amazing to learn that humans have a resilience that we can resort to at any moment in our lives. Sometimes through hardships and through pain is how we discover how strong we can be. Suffering sometimes makes you a better person, makes you value friends and support.”
For Shakira, she especially leaned on her inner circle for support amid the breakup.
“Life sometimes can be a bitch, but it’s also beautiful and made of light and shadows,” the musician added. “I thank life for every single moment, the bright ones and the dark ones, the people who have made me suffer because they have become my masters who have taught me lessons, very valuable lessons.”
