Taylor Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce will ‘take their time’ wedding planning: report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are not in a hurry to say “I do.”

“Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement,” an insider told People Sunday, referring to the couple’s fairytale proposal, which they announced last week.

“They are not in the wedding planning phase yet. Right now, they just want to enjoy being engaged and they are going to take their time with it,” the source added.

“It has been a relief not having to keep it a secret anymore, and they are glad it is out in the open.

Reps for Swift and Kelce, both 35, weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

The A-list couple sent shockwaves when they announced their engagement after two years of dating via Instagram Tuesday.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” photos from the proposal, taken at Kelce’s Leawood, Kan., estate, were captioned.

Page Six learned that Swift and Kelce had kept their engagement a secret for “a couple of weeks,” and fans are convinced the proposal came shortly after they filmed the pop star’s “New Heights” podcast episode earlier this month.

The athlete’s father, Ed Kelce, dished on the details of the proposal, revealing that his son asked Taylor’s father, Scott Swift, for permission to marry her.

“And this was probably a month ago,” he shared on “The Jimmy & Nath Show with Emma” on Tuesday.

Ed also revealed that Travis got the “Cruel Summer” singer to the proposal site by suggesting they have a glass of wine before heading to dinner.

Insiders told us that the Kansas City Chiefs star and the “Lover” songstress are planning a “private” ceremony with their close family and friends.

“It will be more casual than people think,” we’re told.

It’s possible the duo can set down their roots in Travis’ native, Ohio, as they were recently eyeing an $18 million mansion in the state.

Taylor and the NFL star were spotted for the first time since they shared their engagement news, watching a college football match at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Thursday.
