Tequila Brands Owned by Celebrities: From Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston to Dwayne Johnson
Every day can be National Tequila Day thanks to these celebrity-owned spirit companies.
Sure, the actual National Tequila Day is on July 24, and Cinco De Mayo is May 5 every year, but who needs an excuse to sip a margarita? No matter the day, tequila-lovers can drink in style.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, for example, launched Termana Tequila in 2020, and within three years he sold over 2 million 9L cases of the booze.
“I’ve always loved tequila and wanted to create a brand that is rooted in responsible sourcing,” the Johnson exclusively told Us Weekly in his August 2022 cover story. “I love that the tequila brings people together, it’s brought me close to everyone I work with and drinking tequila is such a social activity, so it’s a product I’m happy to put out into the world.”
Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, meanwhile, expanded the mezcal brand Dos Hombres to include tequila in 2026 and they are just the tip of the tequila iceberg.
