Terry Bradshaw opened up about his absence from Fox NFL Sunday.
Eagle-eyed fans who tuned in to Fox Sports on Sunday, Nov. 16, noticed that the sports analyst, 77, was absent from the popular TV program.
The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback explained why he was missing in an Instagram post, writing, “Just in case you notice, won’t be on Fox today. Just have a cold. All good.”
Fans quickly wished Bradshaw well, with one fan commenting on his post, “Get rest and speedy recovery!!! Need your commentary Terry.”
Another wrote, “You’ll be missed. You are why I watch Fox NFL. Get well.”
The Pro Football Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl winner retired from the Steelers after playing 14 seasons from 1970 to 1983. He has appeared on Fox NFL Sunday as a sports analyst since the program debuted in 1994.
The current lineup of hosts and analysts includes Bradshaw, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Jay Glazer and Curt Menefee.

Menefee, Long and Strahan also addressed their fellow panelist’s absence while on the air on Sunday.
“You may notice, Howie Long [and] Michael Strahan, [that] Terry Bradshaw is not with us, he came to work sick this morning, so he decided to go home, not feeling well,” Menefee said.
“We miss ya, man!” Long chimed in, as Strahan added to chuckles, “He didn’t decide to go home, we sent him home. Let that be known.”
Bradshaw has had a number of memorable moments on the series over the years, including in October when his bizarre story involving Kansas City head coach Andy Reid and a man selling pigs left his colleagues at the desk speechless.
In the odd moment that has since gone viral, the NFL legend confused Long and Strahan on, while ostensibly discussing the Monday Night Football matchup featuring the Chiefs and the Washington Commanders.
“The other day I texted Andy Reid and I get a text back and I thought it was Andy Reid, but it was some guy selling pigs,” Bradshaw began his story.

Realizing those in the studio are already confused, Bradshaw continued, “But it sounded good, I shouldn’t have told you that so y’all would have thought I talked to Andy Reid, but I didn’t.”
Bradshaw is dad to daughters Rachel, 38, and Erin, 36, whom he shares with ex-wife Charla Hopkins, as well as Lacey, whom he shares with current wife, Tammy.
Fox NFL Sunday airs every Sunday during the season at 12 p.m. ET.
