‘The Pitt’ star Isa Briones blasts ‘f–king disrespectful’ fans yelling at her during Broadway show
“The Pitt” star Isa Briones berated fans for being “f–king disrespectful” during her Broadway performance over the weekend.
Briones, 27, took to social media on Saturday to reprimand those who “yelled” at her as she portrayed Connie Francis in the popular jukebox musical “Just in Time” at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
“HEY HEY HEY,” the actress began in a since-expired post to her Instagram Story, per Variety. “Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers.”
She continued, “Yelling ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ is f—ing disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off.”
Briones ended her post by sharing “love and light,” and reminding her fans that they “are occupying shared spaces and watching art.”
Reps for Briones did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The actress, who has starred as Dr. Trinity Santos in “The Pitt” since its premiere on HBO Max in April 2025, previously called out a fan in another post to her Instagram Story on April 11.
“Some people need to brush up on theatre etiquette, and just person in the world etiquette in general,” she wrote, per Newsweek. “Do not talk to the performers while they are performing on stage (unless you have been asked to).”
Briones continued, “And don’t talk to me on stage and call me Dr. Santos. I’m not Dr. Santos. I’m not even Connie Francis. I am Isa Briones, one of the actors in the show you have paid to enjoy. So watch it respectfully.”
She ended that post by reminding the fan that they aren’t “a kid at Disneyland” but “an adult man at a Broadway show” who needed to “act like it.”
The “Goosebumps” alum made her Broadway debut as Eurydice in “Hadestown” in 2024. She also starred as Peggy in the first national tour of “Hamilton.”
Briones went on to join “Just in Time” as Connie Francis last month. The immersive play follows music icon Bobby Darin’s rise to fame, and currently stars Jeremy Jordan as Darin.
Away from Broadway, Briones has garnered a large fanbase for her role in “The Pitt.”
The procedural medical drama also stars Noah Wyle as senior attending physician Dr. Robby and Patrick Ball as senior resident Dr. Frank.
Season 1 of “The Pitt” scored an impressive 13 Emmy Awards, and Season 2 premiered to critical acclaim earlier this year.
