The Traitors’ Caroline Stanbury Says ‘Everyone’ Was Afraid to Go Against Donna Kelce (Exclusive)

When it comes to competing on the latest season of The Traitors, Caroline Stanbury says there’s one person all her fellow contestants feared above the rest.

“I tried my best,” Caroline exclusively told Us Weekly of her attempts to get to know castmate Donna Kelce, mom of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce, while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.

“I have to say the only thing was, everyone was so scared to go up against her,” she continued of Taylor Swift’s future mother-in-law, citing the pop star’s dedicated fan base as the reason why her fellow competitors were afraid to go toe-to-toe with “Mama Kelce,” as she is so lovingly called.

“Ever to say, boo to a goose,” Caroline explained. “They’re like the Swifties. And I, well, I’ll do it. I mean, I don’t live in America. Cancel me now.”

She added, “But no, she was lovely. So lovely.”

Travis and Jason’s mom joined the season 4 cast of the hit reality competition series, much to the chagrin of her famous sons.

“We’ve seen the evil side of Donna. You guys haven’t,” Travis, 36, joked while speaking at the 2025 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France in June. “There is no evil side. She’s the sweetest.”

Jason, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles who retired from the NFL in 2024, also weighed in on his mom’s appearance on the show at the same festival.

“I really am looking forward to seeing how he does,” he said while sitting next to Travis in France. “Cautiously pessimistic.”

Back in July, the former Eagle did voice his hesitations to Entertainment Tonight, telling the outlet in July that his mother is “so sweet and kind” that her personality may work against her on The Traitors.

“I feel like in that show, you have to be manipulative and cunning, and you’ve gotta be cutthroat,” Jason explained at the time. “So I don’t know, we’ll see. I’m anxious to see how she did.”

Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, has also weighed in on her mother-in-law’s appearance on the show, first admitting that she’s not necessarily an avid watcher of the program.

“Have I watched Traitors? Not a whole season,” she said during a June episode of her hit “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “Am I excited to watch Donna? A thousand percent. I’mma cheer her on till the end of time.”

She continued, “I am not gonna lie though, her innocence and honesty is working against her. Or for her? Oo, if she’s a Faithful, maybe it works for her. We’re all on the edge of our seats. I’m excited. Come on, Donna! Win it!”

When asked on Friday if the diehard Swifties are going to come for her after they watch the upcoming season of The Traitors, Caroline admitted she may find herself in a bit of hot water.

“Probably,” she told Us. “I mean, remember, it’s a game, right?”

Fans received their first look at the upcoming season of The Traitors season 4 at this year’s BravoCon 2025, and of course it did not disappoint.

“Be not afraid of the dark,” Alan Cumming said in the clip shown on Saturday, November 15. “Be afraid of what lies within it.”

The audience cheers particularly loud for Mama Kelce when she appeared on the screen, promising viewers they aren’t “gonna know what’s coming” with her in the mix.
