‘The Traitors’ Cast Has Been Unfiltered About Tom Sandoval’s Season 3 Behavior: What They Have Said

Tom Sandoval may not be a Traitor but his fellow contestants still had their suspicions about his behavior on season 3 of The Traitors.

The season started with Sandoval asking to be a Faithful — to the surprise of Us and fellow viewers. Sandoval was still hit with digs about his controversial past when host Alan Cumming notably told him, “Would you feel I’d betrayed you, Tom. Doesn’t feel so good, does it?”

Sandoval’s tumultuous time continued with offscreen memes about his notable sweat stains and some shade from his costars about his ability to play the game.

“He’s terrible. To be honest with you, there was no other reason for him saying my name,” Chrishell Stause exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2025. “He just said it so blatantly that he knew I was a Traitor. Of course he’s going to act like, ‘Oh, I really was just playing the game.’ To me, it felt personal and you probably can’t change your mind at this point.”

Chrishell, who noted on the show that she’s friends with his ex Ariana Madix, added that she didn’t ask Ariana for advice about dealing with Sandoval.

Chrishell Stause

Once filming wrapped in 2024, Chrishell Stause shared a series of promotional photos of all her fellow contestants — except Sandoval. The audience got more insight into their issues when The Traitors showed Sandoval accusing Chrishell of not being a Faithful despite no evidence to support his theory. The pair faced off at the first roundtable banishment meeting where Chrishell claimed Sandoval only named her because she’s close with Ariana.

“I thought it was ridiculous,” Chrishell exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2025. “I just felt like of all the people and all the minds at this table, do we really think Sandoval solved the puzzle in 0.5 seconds of leaving the room? No.”

Chrishell noted that Sandoval’s decision to name her right off the bat “worked” in her favor, adding, “I felt like he was so loud and so wrong. It really felt like whoever he says [the Traitor] is, we probably know it isn’t. So I think it helped in my case, to be honest.”

Jeremy Collins

“Tom would look at me all the time. Tom was following me around the castle,” Jeremy told Us in January 2025. “I said, ‘Tom, I’m not a Traitor. Why do you think I am a Traitor?’ He replied, ‘Because you said you were nervous.’ I said, ‘You’re not nervous? If you’re not a Traitor, you can die. You should be nervous.’ But Tom is Tom. I thought, ‘I’m going to put a bell on this dude so I know when he’s coming.’”

Wells Adams

During an interview with Parade in January 2025, Wells poked fun at Sandoval’s swearing. g, “Watching it back, I was like, ‘Man, he’s got two faucets just running at full steam.’ I wish I clocked [his sweat stains], because then I could have been like, ‘You’re a Traitor because you’re sweating a lot,’” he said. “And then I probably wouldn’t be banished on the second episode. It’s a calamity of errors on my part.”

After more episodes aired, Wells told Us that he doesn’t understand Sandoval’s gameplay — but he can give him props for making good TV. “I feel a little bit bad about it because I feel like he’s just being turned into a meme and I don’t know if that’s really necessary. He is television gold though — you have to give it to the guy. Like, he is so good at whatever he’s doing. I don’t even know what it is, but whatever he is doing, he’s very good at it,” he said.

Sam Asghari

Peacock fans noticed an Instagram interaction between Britney Spears’ ex and Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan about Sandoval.

“Omg how cute and I thought at some point you might have been a traitor 😂,” Ayan wrote, to which Sam replied, “@chanelayan never. I would be sweating like that other guy 😂.”

Ayan quipped, “@samasghari oh no that was nasty.”

Dorinda Medley

“The fact that Tom Sandoval is still there and we are not — now that is really bad,,” Dorinda told Wells during The Traitors after show after they were the first ones out.

Gabby Windey

The season 3 premiere kicked off with Gabby and Nikki’s reaction to Sandoval being captured on film.

“Oh my gosh, do you see who it is?” Nikki asked Gabby who replied, “Is that Sandoval? I am not saying hi to him.”

Nikki laughed at Gabby’s reaction, adding, “I know, right?”
