‘The Valley’ star Michelle Saniei breaks silence on Dr. Dre romance

“The Valley” star Michelle Saniei finally confirmed she is dating Dr. Dre months after the pair were spotted getting cozy.

“We’re spending time together and we love being in each other’s company,” the Bravolebrity told People Tuesday, adding that they met through a mutual friend.

“For now we’re just keeping everything super private. I’m just living my life.”

Saniei, 37, and the legendary rapper, 61, were snapped holding hands at celeb hotspot Nobu in Los Angeles on April 25.

The two left the restaurant in a black Mercedes SUV and were surrounded by what appeared to be security personnel.

Days later, it was revealed that the unlikely pair met through her close friend Ashley Palmer-Gilkey, who is the general manager of Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records.

A source told the US Sun that the women have been friends for a long time and Saniei has been around Dr. Dre “for months.”

However, it’s unclear when exactly things turned romantic between them.

Later that month, Saniei’s ex-husband, Jesse Lally, said he was just as shocked as fans when he saw the pairing online.

“I did not get a heads up,” Lally told TMZ at the time. “I saw it on social media the same way as everyone else.”

Lally also threw shade at the new couple’s 24-year age gap, noting he “didn’t see this one coming.”

“I don’t think she ever listened to rap music. So dating Dr. Dre… good for her. But, hey, the N.W.A is the first cassette I ever bought in 1988 — the year Michelle was born — so good for her.”

Saniei and Lally separated in 2023 and finally reached a divorce settlement in October 2025. The former couple shares a 6-year-old daughter, Isabella.

As for the record producer, he has been private about his love life after settling his divorce from his ex-wife, Nicole Young, in December 2021. He agreed to pay her $100 million.

The exes were married for 24 years until she filed for divorce in June 2020. They share two kids: son Truice, 28, and daughter Truly, 24. 

Dre also has eight children from previous relationships — six who are older than Saniei.
