NEED TO KNOW
- Trisha Paytas teases a new TV role, as well as her appearance in Euphoria season 3 in an interview with PEOPLE
- Paytas says she’s in her “actress era”
- Paytas also shares more hopes for the future in the chat tied to her limited run in Beetlejuice on Broadway
Hollywood can’t seem to get enough of Trisha Paytas.
While chatting with PEOPLE about her three-week run in Beetlejuice on Broadway earlier this month, the internet personality, 37, teases that she plays a “really, really major part” in “a really, really major show” currently filming in Los Angeles.
Paytas tells PEOPLE that she traveled to L.A. on Mondays — her off-days during her Beetlejuice run from Nov. 4 to Nov. 23 — to film the project, which is slated for a spring 2026 release.
“[It’s] so wild,” Paytas says.
Between the unnamed series, her Beetlejuice run and her upcoming role in season 3 of Euphoria, the multifaceted performer tells PEOPLE she’s “really in her actress era right now.”
“I think when I was younger, I would audition, and I know I had the talent back then, but I just did not have the confidence,” says Paytas. “I think now I’m getting the confidence. So, I’m lucky, and I’m really thankful, and I’ve just been enjoying life.”
The mystery surrounding Paytas’ undisclosed TV character adds to the existing anticipation for the star’s upcoming role in Euphoria, which is also a mystery.
The Just Trish podcast host is even more tight-lipped about the hit HBO series, telling PEOPLE that while she did not sign an NDA, she’s not sharing much about the experience in hopes of getting “cast in more things” down the line.
She does say, however, that filming the hit series — which stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi — back in February was the “coolest experience ever.”
“I feel like such an actress,” she adds. “Sam Levinson was directing, and he was super cool because I love [Levinson-directed series] The Idol, and we talked so much off-camera about that.”
She also reveals that she filmed with one of the original members of The Idol‘s cast.
Euphoria confirmed Paytas’ casting with an Oct. 17 announcement, which the internet personality then shared on Instagram with a blushing emoji.

Paytas has straddled the stage, screen and podcast studio since her Broadway debut earlier this year. Her one-night-only show, Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream, saw special guests Sutton Foster, Ben Platt, Rachel Zegler and Joy Woods take the stage alongside her on Feb. 3.
“That’s the gag of it all. I really achieved every single dream I could possibly want,” she tells PEOPLE.
Looking to the future, Paytas teases a busy 2026, and says she wants to spend more time in New York City.
“I’ve always loved Broadway, but I’ve really gotten the confidence to be on stage more. I love a live audience,” she says. “So next year, more projects coming, maybe back to Broadway, back to New York in some capacity for sure.”
