Twins Mady and Cara Gosselin Reunite With Sister Hannah During NYC Visit in Rare Photos
Twin sisters Mady Gosselin and Cara Gosselin tend to stay out of the spotlight — but Hannah Gosselin shared a rare photo of the trio when she was visiting New York City.
On Monday, November 17, Hannah, 21, shared several Instagram photos of her visiting twins Mady and Cara, both 25, in the Big Apple. The carousel featured a picture of taxis, a mirror selfie of Hannah, a snap of bagels and, lastly, a photo of the three sisters smiling in a photo booth.
“Spotted in nyc 🍎✨🗽,” Hannah captioned the pictures while Mady commented, “Photos = ate, bagels = ate harder.”
The sisters are the children of Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin. The pair — who split in 2008 — welcomed twins Mady and Cara, followed by sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel.
The Gosselin family rose to fame on the popular TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8 and later Kate Plus 8, which ran from 2007 to 2017.
Drama ensued in the family after Kate, 50, filed for divorce from Jon, 48, after she accused him of cheating. During the tumultuous divorce, both Hannah and Collin decided to live with their dad while the other kids stayed with their mom.
The siblings — aside from Hannah and Collin — reportedly do not have contact with their dad.
“Every time I’m in New York or whatever, I reach out and try to get some stimulation from my twins or whatever,” Jon told Us Weekly in October 2024. “Maybe one day it’ll just happen, but we’ll see. We talk about it a lot. Holidays are coming and maybe that’ll happen.”
While most of the siblings all communicate with each other and Kate, Collin doesn’t speak to them and has been estranged from his mom for years. In October 2024, Collin alleged that Kate was physically abusive throughout his childhood.
“It was rough. I definitely went through it a lot as a kid from my mother’s end. So, it was tough,” he claimed during an interview with The U.S. Sun. “I just remember being isolated from my siblings and constantly taking the fall for her emotions or the tough things going on in her life.”
Collin also alleged that Kate put him in an isolation room “multiple times” when he was younger and allegedly “zip-tied [his] hands and feet together and bolt locked the door, turned the lights off and had cameras there just watching me.”
Kate did not address the allegations, however, her lawyer, Richard Puleo, told the outlet at the time that he didn’t believe Kate would do anything to “intentionally harm” Collin, who allegedly exhibited “troubled behavior.”
Nearly one year after Collin’s claims, he slammed Kate once again after alleging that she “had an affair” with former bodyguard Steve Neild in 2009. (Neild and Kate are currently dating.)
“What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!” he wrote via Instagram Stories. “Now everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance. By the way my dad received death threats and got shunned by the public for years for ‘having an affair’ and ‘leaving his kids.’”
Jon seemingly doubled down on Collin’s allegations that Kate had an affair with Neild by sharing a photo of Kate and Neild to his Instagram Story with the text, “Guess who really ruined the marriage. Read for yourself.”
Jon also added a screenshot from a Page Six article that reported Kate and Neild were dating, adding, “Maybe when I speak people will listen now!!”
