Unrecognizable Jason Momoa shaves off signature facial hair ahead of ‘Dune’ filming

Jason Momoa shaved off his signature facial hair ahead of filming part three of “Dune” — and looks completely unrecognizable.

“Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again,” the “Game of Thrones” alum, 45, wrote via Instagram Wednesday.

The actor documented his beard removal in a candid video, during which he admitted to disliking the transformation.

“Goddamn it, I hate it!” Momoa declared.

As he continued to shave, the “Aquaman” star laughed to himself and quipped, “Oh, man.”

Social media users expressed surprise over the new look in the comments section.

“Oh! No! Again?! LoL” one fan asked, while another requested Momoa to “put it back.”

A third wrote, “From that first shot of him shaving, if you’d asked me and given me 1,000 tries, I would never have guessed it was Jason Momoa.”

Many agreed that they “didn’t even recognize” the “Baywatch” alum.

In September 2022, Momoa made headlines for ditching his signature long locks by cutting off his braids and buzzing his hair.

He joked, “Ooh man, I’ve never even felt the wind right there.”

He debuted a new head tattoo later that same month.

Years prior, Momoa told the Daily Telegraph that he wouldn’t cut his hair “for a while” because then-wife Lisa Bonet “would leave” him.

After the former couple called it quits in 2022, Momoa briefly dated Eiza González before moving on with Adria Arjona.
