‘Vanderpump Rules’ star James Kennedy expecting baby: report
“Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy is expecting his first child with his new girlfriend.
Sources with “direct knowledge” told TMZ on Thursday that the DJ, 34, and his leading lady — who stays out of the public eye — are about to become parents.
According to the outlet, the couple has been dating for around seven months.
They are said to have celebrated how “quickly” their romance has developed with a themed event, inviting friends and family from their “inner circle” per TMZ.
A rep for Kennedy did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Thursday evening.
James was most recently linked to Ally Lewber, 30, with their romance being featured on “Vanderpump Rules” from January 2022 to 2025.
She divulged in a January 2025 Instagram post that they parted ways after Kennedy’s attorney revealed the Burbank City Attorney’s Office declined to file charges against him over a domestic violence arrest in December 2024.
“Thank you for all your support and kindness,” the astrologer wrote at the time, noting that she was “happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James as I never desired criminal charges.”
She added, “We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”
Prior to that, he was briefly engaged to “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Raquel Leviss, 31 — whom he had been dating since 2016 — but the pair called it off in December 2021.
“After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” they wrote in a joint statement.
“We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”
In a lawsuit against Bravo, Leviss later described Kennedy as “a DJ prone to violent outbursts and grappling with long-standing substance abuse issues and emotional dysregulation.”
Kennedy, meanwhile, has openly shared details of his sobriety journey. Following his 2024 domestic violence arrest, he wrote in a social media statement that he was “committed to making meaningful changes in [his] life.”
“I am taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth and being present for my loved ones.”
He concluded, “Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
The reality star has previously been linked to “Vanderpump Rules” personalities Kristen Doute and Lala Kent.
