Meghan Markle saved the day!

While taking part in a conversation at the Godmothers bookstore in California on Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex assisted her pal Courtney Adamo, who was being honored at the event.

After introductions, Markle, 44, told the audience that she was “so excited” about them meeting Adamo, whom she has known since college.

However, when Adamo began to speak, she still had her microphone in her lap. The audience was unable to hear her, as seen in a video shared by the Daily Mail.

Markle pushed the microphone closer to Adamo’s mouth and jokingly added, “I could hold it [the microphone] for you.”

“This makes me so nervous,” Adamo noted, while Markle laughed, putting her arm around her old pal.

The “Suits” alum took part in the chat to help publicize Adamo’s new book, “The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas For A Home Filled With Joy.”

She and Adamo became friends when they were in the same sorority at Northwestern University and had “backpacked France on spring break,” “enjoying crepes” on their holiday.

Markle also revealed that the pair were in California together and were supposed to fly back to Northwestern College when 9/11 occurred, grounding all flights.

“So the two of us ended up driving 30 hours over three days. 10 hours a day. From Los Angeles to Chicago together at one of the most fragile, tender times in this country,” she said, noting that the journey made her realize the importance of “community.”

The “With Love, Meghan” star also shared that she and Prince Harry, 41, use tips from Adamo’s book.

One in particular that they practice with their kids — Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4 — is the “rose and thorn” ritual, to elicit more than a “yes-or-no” response to a question.

“Our daughter, she’s four and she’s a very strong personality and she’s incredible,” Markle gushed. “And now she’s in this moment where I say, ‘What’s your rose and your thorn?’ And she goes, ‘My day was just a blast.’”
