Naomi Watts is among the proud celeb parents who shared their child’s 2025 dorm move-ins.
The actress posted a picture of her and ex-husband Liev Schreiber standing beside son Sasha’s duffel bags, admitting she was “already [bawling].”
Schreiber, for his part, wrote that he was “starting to feel the pull” without his “ride or die” at the University of Southern California.

Katarina “Kat” Dubrow
Heather Dubrow and Terry Dubrow sent their daughter Katarina “Kat” to Yale University in August, four months after revealing her acceptance to Yale University.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star showed off her teenager’s dorm room decor via Instagram Stories, including a “cozy” bean bag.
The Bravolebrity previously clarified that she and her plastic surgeon husband did not donate any money to get Kat into the school.
Sam Woods
After Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren‘s daughter, Sam, graduated from her Florida high school in May, the soccer player‘s college plans made headlines.
The teen wore a Stanford University T-shirt in the Benjamin School’s Instagram post honoring their students’ Senior Send-Off.
The Palo Alto, Calif., college is her golfer dad’s alma mater.
Sasha Schreiber
After Watts’ initial sob session dropping off son Sasha, the Oscar nominee “laughed, cried and had a few extra secret cries,” she wrote via Instagram.
After the family members “packed and unpacked, stacked and color coded,” Watts “gave advice about how the world works.”
However, she noted, “Then [I] remembered: he’s got this!! He did it!! He dreamed big and worked really hard for something wonderful.”
Johan Samuel
Heidi Klum posted an elevator selfie on Aug. 19 from her and ex-husband Seal’s son Johan’s “college move-in day” in New York City.
The future freshman posed for the Instagram photo with his mom and siblings Leni and Henry.
While the model did not specify Johan’s chosen school, she previously told People the then-high school student was interested in Parson’s School of Design, which is in Manhattan.
Bryce James
LeBron James’ son Bryce kicked off the year by committing to the University of Arizona for basketball ahead of his high school graduation.
He began his freshman year in August and briefly returned home for a visit.
Bryce’s NBA-playing dad loudly whooped and cheered before asking his followers, “Y’all see his beard?”
Ruby Maguire
Tobey Maguire and his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, reunited for daughter Ruby’s high school graduation ceremony in June.
While the former couple did not reveal their eldest child’s college of choice at the time, the Providence Journal revealed on Aug. 28 that the actor had been seen at a Rhode Island coffee shop.
The spotting sparked speculation that Ruby is attending Brown University.
Oliver Phillips
“Modern Family” alum Julie Bowen’s son Oliver finished his high school career in June, with the actress subsequently sharing his college plans with E! News.
“He’s going to [the University of] Oregon,” she told the outlet in July. “He’s very, very excited.”
While the teen planned to take a road trip to the dorms by himself, Bowen quipped, “He doesn’t know I’m … coming with.”
Marco Valastro
Buddy Valastro’s son Marco is going to Syracuse University this fall, following his brother Bartolo’s footsteps.
The “Cake Boss” alum told his Instagram followers in June that “proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.”
He concluded, “Go show them what you’re made of, we love you.”
Fiona Facinelli
Jennie Garth gave a glimpse of her and ex-husband Peter Facinelli’s daughter Fiona’s move-in via TikTok on Aug. 28.
“Moving Fiona into her college dorm was surreal,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum wrote. “My little birdie is officially flying the nest.”
While Garth did not name the school, Fiona has Los Angeles’ Loyola Marymount University listed in her Instagram bio.
Evan Whitesell
