Why Dr. Phil thinks Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s kids could ‘wind up in foster care’

Dr. Phil McGraw theorized that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s four children could “wind up in foster care.”
The former talk show host warned in a new interview that the Skims co-founder can face serious issues if she does not take legal action against the out-of-control “Donda” rapper.
“If you need an emergency intervention, then you get an emergency intervention,” he said on TMZ’s “2 Angry Men” podcast Wednesday. “What we don’t want is for these children to wind up in foster care because that system is broken.”
McGraw, 74, dismissed the assumption that Kardashian and West’s billionaire statuses could prevent their kids — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — from that circumstance.
“If you think, ‘Well, with this kind of money, they’re not gonna wind up in foster care,’ well, that’s wrong,” he said.
“If the [Department of Children and Families] gets involved and thinks one parent isn’t reacting while the other is unstable, they will take them,” the “Family First” author shared.
“Now, they’re likely to place them with family members rather than strangers, but you don’t want these children left hanging out to dry.”
Page Six reached out to reps for Kardashian and West for comment but did not immediately hear back.
The exes settled their divorce in 2022 and agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their kids.
However, the reality TV star, 44, is reportedly considering changing her agreement with the Grammy winner, 47, after he featured North on a song with incarcerated rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs against her wishes.
Additionally, Kardashian reportedly abruptly ended North’s recent visit with her dad after learning that controversial commentator Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, would be there, too. (The Tate siblings are both facing rape and human trafficking charges.)
Earlier this month, West went on a lengthy X rant, accusing his ex and the “Kardashian mob” of restricting his parenting abilities and comparing their current custody agreement to “visitation” in “jail.”
The former couple was married from 2014 to 2022.
