William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman’s daughter Georgia makes rare red carpet appearance at TIFF 2025

William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman’s youngest daughter, Georgia Macy, made a rare red carpet appearance at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
Georgia, 23, accompanied her dad to the premiere of his new movie, “Train Dreams,” with the father-daughter duo walking the red carpet together beforehand.
Georgia looked elegant in a champagne-colored slip dress with a halter neckline. She accessorized with a simple necklace and earrings, wearing her short blond hair styled in a wispy bob.
William, 75, looked dapper in a fitted black suit, which he wore atop a white collared shirt. The actor completed his ensemble with a sleek pocket square.
The pair stood with their arms around each other and posed for pictures, smiling as photographers captured the sweet outing.
William and Huffman, who have been married since September 1997, are also parents to daughter Sophia Macy, 25.
Huffman infamously served 11 days in prison, paid a $30,000 fine and completed 250 hours of community service for her involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal, which saw her pay a proctor $15,000 for an improved SAT score to help Sophia get admitted to college.
While William was not charged in relation to the event, the “Shameless” star stood by his wife’s side, writing in part in a letter of support to the judge overseeing her case, “Every good thing in my life is because of Felicity Huffman.”
It took the “Desperate Housewives” star five years to address the ordeal publicly, and even then, she was “still processing” it.
“‘How I am’ is kind of a loaded question,” she told The Guardian in February 2024. However, she added, “As long as my kids are well and my husband is well, I feel like I’m well.”
At the time, Huffman, 62, explained that she had barely worked since the scandal broke.
“It’s been hard. Sort of like your old life died, and you died with it,” she lamented. “I’m lucky enough to have a family and love and means, so I had a place to land.”
As for the response from the public, the actress said, “Some people have been kind and compassionate; others have not.”
As for Sophia, she retook her SAT and got accepted to Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. Georgia, meanwhile, enrolled at New York’s Vassar College.
