Zendaya’s mom casts doubt on Tom Holland marriage claim with cryptic note
Zendaya’s mom had a cryptic reaction to Law Roach’s bombshell claim that her daughter’s wedding to Tom Holland “already happened.”
Claire Stoermer re-posted the stylist’s viral red carpet interview with Access Hollywood at Sunday’s SAG Actor Awards 2026 via Instagram Stories Monday (per People).
“The laugh,” she wrote of Roach’s cackle, potentially implying the 47-year-old was joking about the alleged nuptials.
Reps for Zendaya, Holland and Roach have yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Roach was asked about the couple because Zendaya had been spotted wearing a gold wedding band in recent weeks.
The actress, notably, has been engaged to Holland, 29, since 2024 — and the “Spider-Man” co-stars are notoriously private about their romance.
“The wedding has already happened. You missed it,” Roach told the outlet, insisting his claim was “very true.”
Zendaya, 29, and Holland have been an item since 2017.
Stoermer previously weighed in on the couple’s relationship in 2022 when she seemingly shut down engagement rumors.
As speculation swirled at the time about the actor popping the question, Stoermer shared the definition of “clickbait” to her Instagram Story.
“Clickbait typically refers to the practice of writing sensationalized or misleading headlines in order to attract clicks on a piece of content,” the upload read. “It often relies on exaggerating claims or leaving out key information in order to encourage traffic. The term is generally used in a dismissive sense.”
That same year, Zendaya set the record straight on pregnancy rumors.
“See now, this is why I stay off Twitter,” the former Disney Channel star wrote in July 2022. “Just making stuff up for no reason … weekly. Anyway back to filming ‘Challengers.’”
The “Shake It Up” alum explained to Elle in a cover story the following year how she is “navigating” her public love.
“I do have control over what I choose to share,” she told the magazine in 2023. “It’s about protecting the peace. And letting things be your own but also not being afraid to exist. You can’t hide. That’s not fun either.”
Holland similarly opened up to Men’s Health about not often walking red carpets with his partner to keep from overshadowing their successes.
“It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he divulged in the January 2025 interview.
