Taylor Swift’s ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ music video features her iconic jewelry

Taylor Swift’s latest music video is all about the bling.

For the track called “Elizabeth Taylor,” the pop star chose not to show her own face at all, but rather compile clips of the late movie star for the vid.

Spliced to the track of her namesake song are clips from Taylor’s most iconic moments — both on-screen and off.

The video reads like a fan flick, traveling from 1950’s “Father of the Bride” to 1958’s “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” to later archival footage of Taylor and husband Richard Burton.

Her iconic jewelry is, of course, on full display, including her massive 33-carat diamond ring from Burton.

Gifted to Taylor in 1968, the 33.19-carat Asscher-cut Taylor-Burton diamond ring was formerly known as the Krupp diamond, sold at Christies for roughly $8.8 million.

Also featured is the Mike Todd Diamond Tiara, originally crafted in 1880, boasting old mine-cut diamond in a lattice-inspired design. The tiara was auctioned for more than $4.2 million in 2011.

The auction, held shortly after her death, donated profits to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.

As Swift’s voice can be heard singing “All my white diamonds and lovers are forever / In the papers, on the screen, and in their minds,” Taylor’s bejeweled hand reaches across the screen, wearing not only her massive diamond ring but also a diamond bracelet (however the latter was likely costume jewelry).

Unlike the singer’s other music videos, “Elizabeth Taylor” serves as a visual tribute to the late actress instead of a Swift-centric production.
